What Has God Done!

What has God done for you!

This is a loaded question. Undoubtedly God has done so many things for each and everyone of us. For some, He has restored their health, taken away their illness or diseases. For others, He has bless them with a family, a job and friends. There is one thing that He has done for every single one of us, whether we asked for it or not. What He gave all of us is the sacrifice of His son so that each and everyone of us can be set free from the burdens of sin and experience a life of freedom.

I write this while reminiscing on my life, the things that I’ve done and where God has taken me from. In Psalms 40:2 David exclaimed

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

He took me out of the filth I was in, out of that sin and darkness I found myself in. He took me out of that mud that sticks to everything and reeks of death. He took me out of the mire, the swamp, where you feel like you are always sinking. He set my feet on a rock, on something solid, in a place where I can have my footing where I don’t feel like I am sinking. He gave me a firm place to stand.

These next Sundays we will be exploring personal stories of what God has done for us. Come and join us.

Venga y únase a nosotros.
