“Bueno es Jehová y Digno de ser alabado”. Un saludo de todo mi corazón para cada uno en un nuevo Año de Gracia y Bondad de nuestro Dios.”

Quiero compartir con ustedes lo siguiente:

1– Gracias por su trabajo. Les doy las gracias por su fiel cooperación durante el año 2011. Cada uno hizo su parte para el crecimiento de la obra de nuestro Dios, con sus oraciones, habilidades, y sus Diezmos y ofrendas. Gracias a Dios y a cada uno de ustedes!..

2- Ha habido una transición. Las clases bíblicas del día domingo han sido trasladadas a los Jueves y Viernes. Aunque la mayoría ha podido asistir, siempre traer problemas a algunos por diferentes razones. Quiero que sepan, deseamos el crecimiento Bíblico en cada uno. (Efesios 4:11-13) – Gracias por su cooperación.

3- Tenemos Una Meta especifica y planes para este Año. Si, nuestra meta es “Uno Mas para Cristo”. Que bendición es que Tu puedas decir “Yo se quien yo soy” y hayas aceptado el llamado “Aquí y Ahora”. Pero este año, estamos unidos en que cada hermano, hermana, joven y niño pueda ganar “Uno mas para Cristo”. Lucas 15:4 “no deja las noventa y nueve y se va tras la que se perdió—hasta encontrarla?. Les animo, para no descansar “hasta encontrarla”.— Eso significa que toda actividad, todo ministerio, será enfocado “hasta encontrarla”….. Amen.

4- Planes nuevos: (1) “Misiones Guatemala 2012 si Dios nos ayuda será nuestro primer viaje Misionero. (2) Terminar la construcción del Segundo piso (Necesario para nuestras clases bíblicas y programas para la comunidad).

5- Continuamos con las clases de Evangelismo Eficaz (Evangelismo Explosivo). Los grupos de Evangelismo aumentan! – Asiste y goza compartir las mejores Noticias jamás dadas a la humanidad!- “El Regalo de la Vida Eterna”. “Iremos por las calles, hogares, y todo lugar” diciendo “lo que El Señor ha hecho en nuestras vidas y cuanta misericordia ha tenido con nosotros”

6- Grupos de Crecimiento – Nuestro objetivo es “¡Que se llene mi casa!” Lucas 14:23. Nuestro próximo Evento será en Abril—Junio “40 Dias en la Palabra”. Es mi deseo y oración que tu puedas dar tu hogar para un grupo. Imagínate “40 Hogares/Grupos y 40 nuevos miembros bautizados” – Visiona, sueña, ora y participa!….

Les amamos mucho y es un honor y bendición ser sus pastores.

Beloved in Christ

“The Lord is good and worthy to be praised.” A heart felt greetings for everyone in this new year of grace and goodness from God. I would like to share with you the following:

1 – Thank you for your work. Thank you for your faithful cooperation during 2011. Everyone did their part to help the work of God grow, through your prayers, skills, tithes and offerings. Thanks to God for each and everyone of you! ..

2 – There has been a transition. Bible classes on Sunday have been moved to Thursday and Friday. Although most have been able to attend, there are a few who might be having difficulties because of different reasons. Please know, we want you to grow in your knowledge of the Bible. (Ephesians 4:11-13) – Thank you for your cooperation.

3 – We have a specific goal and plans for this year. Yes, our goal is “One More for Christ.” Blessings will come when You can say “I know who I am” and have accepted the calling for “Here and Now.” But this year, we are all united to win “one more for Christ.” Luke 15:4 “Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?. I encourage not to rest “until you find it.” – That means that every activity, every ministry will be focused on “finding” ….. Amen.

4 – New plans: (1) “Guatemala Mission 2012: With God’s help this will be our first missionary trip. (2) Finish the construction of the second floor (needed for our Bible classes and programs for the community).

5 – We continue with Effective Evangelism classes. (Evangelism Explosion). Evangelism groups grow! – Attend and enjoy sharing the best news ever given to mankind! – “The Gift of Eternal Life.” “We will go to the streets, homes, and everywhere,” saying “what the Lord has done in our lives and how much mercy his had towards us”

6 – Growth Groups – Our goal is “Fill my house!” Luke 14:23. Our next event will be from April to June “40 Days in the Word.” It is my hope and prayer that you can open your home to a group. Imagine “40 Homes / Groups and 40 new members baptized” – Visiona, dream, pray and take part! ….

God does the same with us in what He calls us to do. Our theme for these 21 Days is Here and Now. God wants to use you Here and Now and despite the many excuses or reason we might give God, He will equip us for the task. God will direct us, will guide us and will be with us all the time, as we do His work.

In the next 14 Days continue to seek God, to ask Him for direction and to walk with Him closer. Ask Him to show you and prepare you as He uses you Here and Now.

Esta es la primera semana de los 21 Días con Dios. Esta semana hemos estado ayunando, orando y leyendo la Biblia. Ha sido una semana dura, pero sin embargo una semana bendecida. Ya hemos visto cómo Dios ha estado trabajando dentro de la Iglesia y con cada uno de nosotros. Esta semana hemos leído acerca de Moisés y cómo Dios lo llamó para un propósito especial. A pesar de las muchas excusas o razones Moisés le da a Dios vemos cómo Dios respondió a cada una de sus preocupaciones y lo prepara para esta tarea.

Dios hace lo mismo con nosotros en lo que Él nos llama a hacer. Nuestro tema para estos 21 días es aquí y ahora. Dios quiere usarte Aquí y Ahora. A pesar de las muchas excusas o razones que damos a Dios, Él nos preparará para la tarea. Dios nos guiará, nos guiará y estará con nosotros todo el tiempo mientras hacemos su trabajo.

En los próximos 14 días continuaremos la búscando de Dios, pedirle su dirección y poder caminar con él más de cerca. Pídele que te muestran y te preparan para usarte aquí y ahora.

This year like we have done in previous years we will be holding a 21 Day Fasting and Prayer event. Our theme of Here and Now will allow us to explore ways in which we can be open and available to do God calling and serve Him where ever you are and at any time. Along with the fasting and praying we will also be handing out a reading guide based on the life of Moses. Through this story we will explore the different attitudes/characteristics Moses embodied that allowed God to used him and how we can embrace these qualities to be used by God in any place and any time.

We hope you will join us this Sunday at 10am for the start of a wonderful journey with God! The possibilities are endless!

Al comenzar el año nuevo muchos de nosotros creamos una lista de cosas que queremos lograr, cambiar o mejorar. La mayoría de nosotros hacer una Resolución de Año Nuevo que por lo general nos dura hasta el mes de marzo. Algunos de esos cambios son de leer la Biblia un poco más, o pasar más tiempo en la oración o la que la mayoría de nosotros hacemos es – hacer ejercicio y comer más saludable. La capacidad de completar una resolución de año nuevo es el enfoque y la perseverancia. Se trata de mantener su enfoque en el objetivo final y es perseverar a pesar de los obstáculos que enfrentaremos.

Este año, como lo hemos hecho en años anteriores, llevaremos a cabo un evento de 21 días de ayuno y oración. El tema este año “Es Aquí y Es Ahora” nos va a permitir estudiar las formas en que podemos estar abiertos y disponibles para escuchar la llamada de Dios y servirle esté donde esté y en cualquier momento. Junto con el ayuno y la oración también se entregara una guía de lectura basada en la vida de Moisés. A través de esta historia vamos a explorar las diferentes actitudes que Moisés tuvo y le ayudo a que Dios lo utilizar y cómo podemos incorporar estas cualidades para ser usado por Dios en cualquier lugar y en cualquier momento.

Esperamos que se unan a nosotros este domingo a las 10 am para el inicio de un viaje maravilloso con Dios! Las posibilidades son infinitas!

Fiesta de Navidad

Este sabado el Ministerio de Mujeres y de Hombres tuvieron su reunion mensual en una manera muy especial. Los ministerios tuvieron su celebracion de Navidad.

Entre testimonios de la Fidelidad de Dios en este ano, canciones navidenas y coros Las Supremes (grupo musical de mujeres) nos deleitaron con una cancion especial. El mensaje central de la cancion es que un hombre con baraba blanca barriga grande y traje rojo le a quitado el lugar a Jesus.

En esta navidad no olvidemos que es un tiempo especial donde celbramos el nacimiento de Jesus. Entre la comida, los regalos y las fiestas no olvidemos de cantarle Feliz Cumpleanos a Jesucristo.

The Supremes

Through reading the Purpose Driving Life and looking through the Bible we have come to the conclusion that we are all create for a purpose, and that purpose is to please God.

We explored the 5 ways we can please God:

1. Worship – not only with our singing but with our whole life
2. Fellowship – being part of the family of God and cultivating meaningful relationships with others in church
3. Discipleship – becoming more like Christ in my everyday life through actively learning and practicing what I’ve learned
4. Evangelism – sharing what God has done in my life to those around me.
5. Missions – engaging and helping those in need providing for every facet of their lives.

In the past 40 days we have witness Gods work to bring people to the full knowledge of His salvation through believing and receiving Jesus Christ as their saviour.. Through weekly small groups that met in individual homes, 165 people where introduced or reminded of the best news ever, that this free gift we call salvation can be theirs also. As a result of this campaign many reconciled with God or accepted Jesus as their Lord and saviour..

As we start the engage and implement these 5 purposes in our lives we will be blessed and our purpose in life will become clearer and more focused.

We cannot wait to see how God will continue to work in us and through us to edify His church.

Pastor are a special breed, it is a calling that can not be compare to any other. It is a calling of self sacrifice, a calling to have patience in the midst of storms. Being a Pastor is a 24-7 day job, and seldom a job  that is rewarded with compliments or with much appreciation.

Our Pastor, along with many other Pastors have done this and more. Today we, the congregation of The Christian and Missionary Alliance of Spanish Harlem will like to wish our Pastor and all Pastors a blessed Pastors Appreciation Day

For the next 6 weeks, 40 days, we will be exploring the purpose of our lives. It is said that a creation is created for a purpose. God being our creator created us with a purpose in mind. We will be reading The Purpose Driven Life book and discussing the 5 purposes that we have.

Be Blessed

Light has many particular attributes and uses that make it very unique and useful. If we think about the reason why God asked us to be the light of the world, it therefore implies that the world is in darkness. As the light of the world we should not be hidden, as light shines brighter when surrounded by darkness.

This Sunday we will be holding a Missionary Service and sharing how God has been working all over the world. Please join us at 1pm.

La luz tiene muchos atributos y usos particulares que la hacen única y muy útil. Si pensamos en la razón por la cual Dios nos ha pedido que seamos la luz del mundo, implica que el mundo está en tinieblas. Como la luz del mundo la luz no se debe ocultar pues la luz brilla más cuando está rodeado por la oscuridad.

Este domingo se llevará a cabo un servicio misionero y compartiremos cómo Dios ha estado trabajando en todo el mundo. Por favor acompáñenos a las 10:00 am.
